Today!
So today me (kyle), dan and ed learned how to tight rope walk…! we played a show at one of our friends parents music festivals they do in our town. It’s really awesome, they invite over awesome bands, old friends and anyone else who wants to come. We played first and had a fun time and then for the rest of the day we learned how to tight rope walk! Today was nice, pictures below

me and ed played a show in a random bar in bridgeport. we played with 2 bands that used to be really big and are having weird random get together reunion gigs, they told us even though they’re 40 and married and have jobs they don’t regret a single thing they did. we’re gonna be playing music together for a long time.
Where did the name The Guru originally come from.
Ed and Colin made it up when the first started jamming together, they orginally called themselves The Mad Cat Guru but then eventually it just became The Guru!
What was a childhood place that you guys grew up with and means dear to each one of you? Like a summer camp or a family vacation spot.

Why have you guys become so cocky? It's just a band dude, no need to parade yourself around like you have done so much for others. All of your songs sound the same, and ed's voice sucks.

the first song we released as the guru with 3 of us was symmetrical strawberry but when dan joined the band we started to change and the first song we wrote with him was pirates cove

Tour Update
So today we woke up in philly, last nights show was by far the best one on tour. Bandname has been taking care of us for the last two days, they are the best people ever. It is a great feeling to travel farther and farther away from your home and still have people enjoy your music. Thank you very much for everyone that helped out with shows, came to shows and helped spread the word. Next summer we plan to do a 2 weeks tour, thank you everyone!

It seems like you guys always have awesome adventures. Is there a way you can teach me to master the art of adventuring, or is it more of an east coast thing?
you can do it anywhere! drive or walk around anywhere you want, when you see other people talk to them and ask them questions! meet nice people and have fun!
we went to an ice cream place today and philly and I asked the guy if there was a discount and he gave us two free coupons! just remember it never hurts to ask!
